Working for giant telecom clients, I've told the story of “What is SD-WAN and why you should buy it from X” more times than I can count. I've permeated on all the base metaphors for Verizon, AT&T, and Cisco more than once. Finding a different angle on it was becoming exhausting.
However, practice makes perfect I suppose. When I started working on a landing page and ads with a limited budget for an SD-WAN pitch for Cisco, I decided the best way to approach it was to just tell it like it is with a visual representation of how it functioned that even an Alaskan senator could understand.
